Designing with True Custom, Inc. I hear from people again and again how difficult, or even impossible, it is to find a home design that is exactly what they want and need. Homebuilders usually like portions of several different plans. Or individuals have their own ideas that they cannot find anywhere. Finding the perfect design would seem to be impossible. But it is not. I design it from scratch.
During this stage, a 3-D computer model is created, allowing the clients to get a realistic idea of the home’s interior and exterior features. The clients will review the model several times during this stage to refine the home design and to iron out any final details. Using the 3-D model, key decisions can all be explored before breaking ground. Items like color schemes, furniture location and even material calculations are easily realized in the computer simulation. Our home design process begins with a meeting to establish the customer’s ideas and key features. Some customers have a lot of ideas and features already determined, whereas some have just a general feeling as to what they want. Next, a preliminary floor plan is created using only the customer’s design criteria and my creative skill. Now the design can move to the 3-dimensional stage. The final stage is construction. My choices of quality materials and quality craftsmanship are what will make your home endure. When strength is questionable, we use steel. When privacy is desired, we sound insulate. I also pride myself on my availability and constant communication with the customer during construction, allowing for a pleasant and exciting building process. My goal is to build a superior home that is high quality, and also a work of art perfectly fitted to the customer’s lifestyle.
